BACKGROUND:
My name is Bill Rogers and I am Chairman of the Childrens International Foundation (CIF), a non-profit corporation. I have worked with Children's Homes for over 40 years in the State of Texas. Kids end up in Childrens Homes for various reasons that range from deceased, incarcerated, or irresponsible parents to sexually abusive situations, while some are true orphans with no family member willing to care for them. Through my experience I have found that most Childrens Homes have already found contributors to fund food, shelter, and clothing needs for the children. What the Childrens Homes don't have available are positive, motivational books, CDs, DVDs, educational toys, and courses that teach them how to become successful entrepreneurs. Other products services will be provided in the future to encourage these kids that Yes, They Can Do It! We want to inspire these kids to believe that they can do almost anything in the world that they want to do IF they believe in themselves. We want to give them food for their soul, heart, and future success. We want to give them hope.
PLAN:
The plan of the CIF is to find people all over the world that want to become one of the Local Representatives to work directly with Childrens Homes in their own cities. They will become liaisons for the CIF to communicate directly with the Administrators of these Childrens Homes. The personal satisfaction each Local Representative will receive from working with a Childrens Home is indescribable.
The primary focus of each Local Representative will be getting these Childrens Home Administrators to accept that we really want to help build their children's self-confidence and their belief that they can do almost anything in the future if they try hard enough. It costs absolutely nothing — no cash — to become a Local Representative... all that is required is your belief in our cause, your desire to help children, and a small amount of your time.
We believe the positive, motivational books, CDs, DVDs, educational toys, and courses that teach them how to become successful entrepreneurs, in addition to other products and services that the Home Office of the CIF will provide to each Childrens Home will positively change the lives of these children. We will also provide other products and services as time goes on, and we invite suggestions. Each Childrens Home has different needs.
As of January 31, 2009 we have received official 501c3 Tax Exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service of the United States. We now have a tax-exempt number that we can provide to other foundations, large corporations, and individuals, allowing them to write-off all donations and grants that they contribute to the Childrens International Foundation. The CIF is currently approaching large individual investors, corporations, and other institutions to provide the funding for this endeavor. The initial response has been very favorable. The CIF, with your help, will make it happen!
