Oxygen: A Song and the Truth

I have written about food and water, yet have only once, on a web page of mine at CookingClass101.com, defined the three basics of short term needs for survival. Food and water as I just mentioned are two of the top three, but if you will for but a moment think in the most simple of terms in regards to what we need for survival, you should come to a point where you realize the most basic of facts.

That fact is placing oxygen at the number one spot in order of priority. Without oxygen for only a few moments, life ceases to exist. Whereas without water you can go for a few days and food you can go a few weeks, without too much damage being done to vital organs, IF you HAD too.

I remember the ELO song: Love is like Oxygen, too much or not enough was the jist of it. What I am trying to bring up here is on a much grander scale then a tune of 30 years ago.

During winter in the northern and southern hemispheres the only oxygen producing and polution filteration mechanism is put on hold, doing neither for a long period of time while we use the oxygen up and fill up the atmosphere with polution. During the winter months due to the trees and plants being in hibernation, oxygen levels significantly drop and are depleted. If you have been reading along for some time here now you should remember that the lack of oxygen to cells is one of the primary causes of cellular mutation into cancerous cells and onto tumours.

Hang on as I am about to turn another corner here. We have arrived at the focus of this key stroke, digitization of thought exercise. The importance of house plants year round! Put some oxygen back into your home, into your lungs, into your body and into your life.

I know that those who have come this far can add two and two and subtract one and as time is short here with so much to do, I say no more yet leave it to you to ponder as I remain the chef, the chef of food for thought...

Remember:
That each one of us
is an individual cell
